Bluegrass #4 is the second largest FOP lodge in Kentucky with over 900 members and growing. Lodge #4 is an open lodge with members from the Lexington Division of Police, UK Police, the Fayette Co. Sheriff Dept., Versailles Police Dept., Sadieville Police Dept. and several others, as well as members from Federal and state agencies.
This new website will allow you to keep up with monthly minutes to the lodge meetings, view photos of lodge events, as well as receive email reminders of upcoming meetings and events. 100 Year Motorcycle Coin Sales
For the last two years, the Lexington Division of Police Motorcycle Unit has been requested by the organizers to participate in escorting the families of fallen officers during the National Police Memorial Week in W
ashington DC. These trips have been made, at no cost to the division, with fundraising by the Selective Enforcement Unit.
As you may or may not know, the first Lexington Division of Police Motorcycle was put into service in 1912. 2012 marks the 100 year anniversary of police motorcycles in
Lexington. To commemorate this milestone, the Selective Enforcement Unit has commissioned a challenge coin. These coins are available for purchase by anyone who is interested. The proceeds from the sale of these coins will go towards funding this year’s trip to
Washington DC. Please help us to be able to continue to honor the families of our brother and sister officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.
Attached is an order form for the purchase of the 100th Anniversary Motor Squad Coin with the rendering of the coin listed on the order form. If you are interested in purchasing a coin(s), please fill out the form and send it with a check payable to the Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association (CPAAA) for the total amount and we will deliver the coins when they arrive from the manufacturer in either late February or early March. Cash purchases will also be able to be made from any SEU member after the arrival of the coins, while supplies last.
